On a dreary moonlit night.
She felt her spirit overcome by fright.
In the deathly gallows of another future storm.
All that remains is a spirit that's forlorn.

In the age when the Nephilim roamed the Earth.
Over plains of grief-stricken land.
Asmodeus lost his sight on her, a woman with a soul so pure.

Rising from the shadows below and deep within.
He knew this act of love was forbidden.
He would sacrifice his rite of Everlast.
His prowess to seduce all of mankind ....

(In agony the demon shouted:)

"I....
..... have fallen..."

One starless night he revealed him unto her, their spirits united in tales of splendid wonder.
One moment of her glimpse transcend him into Paradise.
Treaded into her realm, his essence now a sacrifice.

Little did he know that his kindred saw.
Hues of light so bright in his darkened soul.
They felt enraged; eyes turning onyx black.
Asmodeus tethered the twice-fold realms.

(In utter remorse the spirit cried:)

"I....
.... have fallen ...
I have fallen beyond Grace"

Then on a mournful, sombre starless night.
The dark elders decided upon his fate.
For this he'll have to pay a vicious price.
According to legends, the Seven Princes of Hell soon became one less.

(So said the Stygian Council:)

"Asmodeus! Our purpose is to lust the flesh, deceive the mind and claim the soul.
Unholy scrolls read your punishment: A mere spirit devoid of life and death"

Entwined eternally between the living and the dead.
He cannot even seep into her lucid dreams.

His grip on her ghost was released so heartlessly.
Free now was her soul from his blinding power.
He never knew the pain; thoughts were torn asunder.
He vowed to never rest, searching for his ....

.... long lost love!
